In my Garden almost ready....

I just could not wait, when you get close to the tree you can smell the peaches. So I took a bite out of one, it was still hard but now I  know they have a good flavor and I hope they will be dripping with juice.

This will be my first year getting peaches from my own tree!

Sorry ,but here are more pillows

I had this wonderful Satin Rose Fabric for years in my stash and finally found good use for it.

Yes ,I made three more pillows, that makes it  nine for today!

Being Creativ

I spray painted my wicker set white .

This was the striped chair cushion I liked but it just did not look good on the brown wicker so that`s why I had to use 8 cans of paint!

Yellow bench cushion from Pier 1 was exactly what I wanted because of the fabric for the throw pillows, which I got 10 years ago or more?

This is the chair and bench together. Now I need just a few little things and more spray paint to finish my deck furniture.Hang my new shade cloth curtains and we are ready to enjoy it.

My first Dog Sweater

This is Annie. My good friend Doris is in Australia visiting her son ,his fiancee and their Baby Annie. She got the yarn and asked me to make a sweeater and I think as for the first one it looks not to bad.

I had to put a swarovski crystal on as the I dot,a girl needs a little Bling!

Love it! But I`m sure the next sweater will not get any maschine embroidery,it took me over 30 minutes with the help of my husband to get it into the frame.

Theresas Asian Night Blocks

This is the fabric Theresa used as her focal point for her blocks.

I was thinking of  Mongolia as my theme for the block .

 My completed block.

All four blocks together, work done by Carol,Meg,Peggy and myself.

Trip of a lifetime

I could not find a milk carton so this wine bottle had to do it!

My friend Doris was so lucky to get a ticket from her son to visit him and his fiancee in Australia. So I go and let her dogs out. They are very spoiled little girls and I know they miss their Mommy.

FFT #21

This is the colorful paisley I made with a little gold bee charm. I hand dyed the blue lace and placed the red beads and stitched it down with yellow floss.

I used dark purple  floss to stitch down the lace and beaded it after I placed the two orange lace pieces I had moved from the other side to make this design .Stitched the five turquoise wagon wheels added the dragonfly charm

This completed my work on Lindas  block, ready to be mailed to the next RR participant.

I just had to start this ONE! More knitting

This is the design I picked from the Verena magazine I got from Germany last week.

The colors are to muted for my taste.

All the colors here look like mouthwatering candy, summer ,fun and ME !

I decided not to buy any yarn and just use what I have in my stash. for the next few month it will be my personal challenge NOT to buy any fabric or yarn, use what I have and see what I can do with it.
