Last Block finished

This is the last block I had to finish before my trip. It is Art Nouveau and belongs to Darlene, I hope she likes what I decided to put on her block.

I love the book I had used for the cross stitch design ,pretty sure I will be using it a lot from now on.It has a wonderful variety to pick from. I used this pink lace not only for its color but the shape and added gold beads ,two charms and simple embroidery in blue shiny  rayon with french knots.

My new Art work

I had signed up for a Quote Challenge by Lesley Riley . My quote was Throw your heart over the fence and the rest will follow by Norman Vincent Peale. This is what I came up with. I decided on a triptych .

I made my three quilts

 and wrapped them around the frame

 heart appliqued and embellished with sparkles

 I beaded the leafs and used Angelina fibers

 Heart flowers hand embroidery and glass heart beads added

 I love the way it all sparkles and shines at night when I walk by

  and look up,, so happy I decided on  wrapping the canvas with it so it looks good from all sides. No it did not make it into the book but it made me HAPPY!
