Butter Brioche

Lots of sweet butter was used to make this yeast butter dough for the Brioche. Now that's why I`am not the skinny girl! Done with baking for today, time to rest.

Bretzelsticks

This is what my husband uses to make his sandwich for lunch, they are about 10 inches long.

Today is baking day

First up today is my Bagutte Parisienne, from chefkoch de.com

I made the dough last night and put it in the fridge till this morning , took it out and let it rise for another two hours bake it at 475-480 in  my electric oven. All you need is 400 gr flour, 1 pack of dry yeast and 350 ml lukewarm water and 1/2 tea spoon salt ,I just use the back of a wooden spoon and stirr it all together cover and up in to the fridge, very quick and easy works always .

Kansas Summer Garden Snowball

When I pieced the background I wanted it to be like sunny day in Kansas.I love all the birds in my garden and knew I had to add them in.

Yes we have a lot of sunflowers in Kansas.

You can sit in chair and enjoy the outdoors on a sunny day .

The commpleted snowball just like my backyard with flowers, birds and a little dog to love!

This was a fun snowball to make, I used all the bright colors I like and just went with it. By now it is on it`s way to the new owner and I hope she likes it.

This came in the mail today

My new postcard! I just love her design and use of color.I got this awesome post card from Ms. Frances Holliday Alford .

She does some amazing collage work and I have been luck twice to get a piece of it. We did a Round Robin in 2007 on the Quiltart List and that's how I got my first piece from Ms. Frances
