This is just a simple silk ribbon rose with lace leaf appliques and a little stitching with beads.When I saw the color of the silkie I had to add this butterfly and I also gave this Beauty a necklace.
I had this wonderful antique handmade piece of lace from Germany and it was just perfect for this block,lots of pearls ,some silk ribbon roses with simple embroidery to stitch the satin trim of leafs. I had to remove some things I had added to leave room for the other Ladies to work on this block,I could so have finished it ,I have to part with it tomorrow and can`t wait to see what will be added to it.
OMGG that is just beautiful, especially the lace embellished. The blue on the silkie is gorgeous.
