Second set of pillow cases done

 Here is my second set of pillow cases for my new Pip Studio duvet covers. just like the first set I only used fabric , trim and lace I had at home !

I finally made my first set of pillow cases to go with my new Pip studio Duvet covers. My goal was to get a little more fancy this time and so I had fun with it !

  I did not go and buy any fabric just used what I could find in my stash !

New supplies, cake and sewing

I have been home for almost three weeks now and have gained 8 pounds. So this morning the contractor did not show, my new supplies came in and I did set my new sewing area up. To make myself feel better I baked a plum cake and now I`m just waiting for it to cool a little.

  I used the last two cans of plums I bought at Aldi last year just bought a whole new pallet of them last week.

I had to work on a few things last weekend and  I started cleaning and then got lost in doing laundry and reorganizing .At the end I had made these curtains but my house was a bigger mess then when I had started.

Getting ready for the Wedding

 Gifts from Kansas. My friends son is getting married this weekend in Hawaii. So I made two dishtowels that my friend will give as a gift with home made Jalapeno jelly

 This will be the Wedding Garter that the bride will  give away, the one I made for the bride will be posted this weekend, she has not seen it yet!

New piece finished

I should have cleaned up my studio but a spontaneous decision was made to create . Here is my sweet little gift cone.I love green and pink! Maybe I will fill this with rose pedals? No I could hide my chocolate in it!

New Pillow cases

My bright pillow cases cheer me up.

It has been a rather nasty outside,just cold and everything looked gray and dark. It is to start snowing again tonight or tomorrow. I was so happy to have lunch with my two son`s in Abilene,Kansas,at La Fiesta. This is a really good restaurant for our area. So after lunch we got home and my Husband made a fire in the fireplace , it got all warm,nice and cozy. I took a nap till my DH brought my coffee and I decided to make some colorful pillow cases.I do love the way the different fabric lines work together.
