Mail lady brought me this little gem

 It was a wonderful surprise in my mailbox today, from Connie K. in Colorado, love the Dragonfly and her way of piecing the block .Thank you so much , I did not mind waiting this long to get a sweet piece like this.

And that's all for today.My mom had another stroke last Friday and I did not do much knitting or embroidery, she is back home and sounded very well. I do have to book my flight soon to go home and spent some time with my parents.

Bread for today

 so here is the starter from last night

after one hour of baking

I have to admit the bread is awesome, love the crust and so easy to put it all together. Wonderful flavor and I will add sunflower seeds or walnuts next time. I have never used my wonderful pot for baking,first time and what a reward! here is the link :

My new Snowball

 This is for my pink,cream,green collection of Roses and Dragonflys themed Hexagon Snowballs.

My new snowball ,just finished and I`m ready to work on the next one.

My new cake recepie

 I added two extra apples and leftover Hazelnut flour

It has a wonderful aroma and yes as always I could not wait and tasted it still slightly warm.so here it is

I love how smoth this cake is. The apple  pieces are still juicy and the hazelnut flower makes it a little crunchy.

Breakfast,lunch and dinner

My awesome husband made Blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries and blueberry syrup and eggs for breakfast.

For dinner I made my Lentil soup-Linseneintopf and was having it for almost the rest of the week.

 I had tryed a new recepie and ended up with a mess and a wonderful Chocolte-Hazelnut -Cake. It was awesome ,nevermind I had put the cinnamon into my dough and not the filling!

I had to work on a few things last weekend and  I started cleaning and then got lost in doing laundry and reorganizing .At the end I had made these curtains but my house was a bigger mess then when I had started.
