The last one!

This is the third one, silk ribbon and floss embroidery, lace ,charms and couched flowers,it was fun to make them ,but unless some one will ask for it I will move on to something new.

The second one has lace with Jo-Jo flowers,charms and silk ribbon embroidery with flowers.

New work finished

This week I finished a custom order of three small CQ like picture quilts. They have pictures of the actual houses the families have lived in here in Ft.Riley Kansas. The first one has Forget me knots ,a spider Webb , lace appliques and a antique West German round embroidery.

Shopping

All the little goodies I got at Michaels on sale two week`s ago.I was shocked that it still came to $100 .I need it for Gerry`s block!

As the Blue Willow was the Inspiration, I printed it on fabric and used a butterfly fabric with it to make my mirror and use the same white fabric for the handle.To finish it I used 2 porcelain beads.This was another wonderful Block that got finished and is on it`s way home.

These blue and white fabrics just screamed for a Kimono and here it is.

Blue Willow

This is the finished Asian Block for Darlene. Her colors where blue and white with the blue willow as inspiration.My first addition was a blue cherry blossom with white velvet leafs from Japan.

Time fly`s

Time just seams to fly,I was finally able to finish Gerry`s Encrusted Block. Her theme was Queen of hearts with soft pinks and cream. I just loved this combination.First I needle felted with pink and white wool around the Queen of hearts picture,added beads,buttons and charms. Made a heart flower twig on the top,tatted heart with beads on the right.The charm bracelet and a little Bling with crown on the lower right finished this block.

For the Art 4 mail group I made 6x6 mini quilts .The theme is Spring and I made these little flowers and added velvet leaves.

Here is the Dandelion Block I got to work on,it was so much fun to add my hand dyed lace ,beads and charms,I hope Cathy will like it.

I have been very busy shopping for the last 3 month. We are getting 2 new bathrooms.So every weekend I have been in all the stores in Salina and Topeka to find little treasures to go into my rooms.Today I finished a block for Cathy from the CQI group and mailed it to Lauri .So I started on Gerry`s Encrusted block and hope to find a few more things to put on it when I go shopping for my Bathtub tomorrow.I still need Faucets for the sink and a Heater,light&fan combination.Hope to post pictures soon.
