Hello Delafield, how is ST. Johns Academy? This little lace peacock is from Wisconsin, I hope that Cheryl will like my work.
I love these little blocks, it is just so much fun to work on them. Here is a tone on tone in cream.I just added the Tenerriffa Lace with little buttons in the center, beaded the Peacock ,2 seam treatments with beading and some filler embroidery and flower beads.

I used the design on the fabric for my Inspiration, added more fairies because you can never have to many of them and a couple of birds to finish my work. This was another fun one to work on.
My parents have been here for a week now and I don`t have as much time for my sewing for now. So I`m glad to have finished this little Fairy Block for Peggy Sue.

She is done! This is a little shawl called Pimpelliese,I used two different shades of green sock wool, very easy pattern and quickly knitted up.
It is Thursday, I`m off today to finish cleaning and rearranging the house to get it ready for my parents. I`m so exited ,I have not seen them for 3 years. So just wanted to post a few pictures of my finished shawl.

This was a find while looking at blogs , the pattern is called Bottom up Birch . Looking back I had started it on Saturday February the 19 and just finished it yesterday. Since this was my first I was very lucky to be a member of a group called Knitting Delight. The Ladies where awesome sharing their secrets on how to block and what to use and I will need to invest in a few more supplies for my new found hobby.
I `m in love with Lace knitting, after I failed at my first attempt last year I decided to try it again and using smaller needles made all the difference. No big holes as before but it took a little to get use to the thin yarn. All this time invested was time well spent, I love my shawl.
