Last Posting for 2010 CQ

Autumn Block for Lorrie in Canada.She had picked a rather bright palette for her Fall Block and I might have put to much on it,but I like it.

All 3 finished blocks together.

Knitting

This is all wrapped up at my friend Doris`s house,she will be back from Las Vegas tomorrow and it will be her welcome home present.

My scarf, a little bit more color then the one I made for my friend.

Just as we started to get cold weather I have finished two more scarf`s

Frohe Weihnachten Merry Christmas

I`m done for today. Just did the last minute decorating ,putting cookies out and making sure all the gifts are under the tree. This year I only baked Ausstecherle  a German Butter cookie, and Spitzbuben   a cookie dough with ground Hazelnuts stacked together with  raspberry jelly  in the middle . Time to do nothing,no time to do some more knitting to get a few more scarfs  finished this year.

This is another Scarf I just finished today. I do enjoy knitting again and signed up for a Knitting Online Group. I hope to learn more and my wish is to make my creations more creative and maybe a little outside the box?

Just a few pictures of my last shopping trip, love Polish Pottery, I went to Poland when we lived in Germany and went crazy. Anything that says baking catches my eye  and my little Christmas slippers I just had to have.

Weihnachts Geschenke-X-mas gifts

My friend Doris works for the local school and needed some little gifts to along with some German goodies.Here are some kitchen towels that will be used as the Wrapper. I had fun to applique and embroider them. Frohe Weihnacht- Merry Christmas.

The finished Block.

It is getting colder and I have more time for sewing .No garden work for a few month!Candji`s Asian Block was mailed this morning and I hope she will like it as much as I did mine.When I received it all of the lower half was empty and it was like a having a playground to play on all for myself. First did some simple seam treatments,started my fan and found this printed postcard to add. Still had a little room and decided to put some Cherry Blossoms to fill the space. I do love how it all came together.
