Well this is it for this year. I got my last two boxes from Germany and unpacked and divided it all. now it is time to use my new supplies and see what I can do with them.
This baby yarn is for my nieces new baby girl that should arrive any day now. So glad the magazines made it in time so I can start knitting a companion piece for a dress I bought.

Beautiful! My sister, my husband and I visited Stuttgart in 1996. We were only there for one night on our way to Holland to visit Dutch relatives. However, we had enough time to visit the Porsche Museum and then head off to a celebration (I think it was Oktoberfest, but my memory is not what it used to be!) Thank you for sharing your new treasures.
ReplyDeleteThank you Renee, now we have a new Soccer stadium and a big new Mercedes Benz Museum! My parents house is about 15 minutes from the Porsche Museum and I went by it several times you know I have the Horse emblem on my car!

ReplyDeleteThank you Wendy, but there was a lot of sadness,heartache and disappointment that the shopping did not make up for . It will take a while to work through all of it and I know my CQ friends and my sewing ,knitting and for really bad days my cakes will be very helpful at this time.
